My Process

For Frankie, I removed the neon yellow from their accessories to lean into a darker, more classic Monster High vibe. I repainted accents black and added silver to highlight the sculpted accessories that often go unnoticed in G3 designs.

Their hair is tied in a side ponytail with a white bow for contrast, and I swapped the original pants for a blue skirt from Twyla’s Garden Mysteries extras. I also chrome-painted their prosthetic leg silver, adding pink and blue flowers to give it a fun, festival-inspired look.

For Cleo, I used a gold chrome pen on her mummy-wrapped leg and hand to match Frankie’s silver prosthetic and enhance her regal feel. I also repainted accessories like her belt in golds and teals to make them pop and reflect her outfit’s palette.

I curled her hair to add volume and flair, giving her a bolder, more styled look. Overall, her makeover keeps the essence of her original doll while bringing in playful, statement touches for the Monster Fest theme.
